Outpost Information French Broad:
The NOC has TWO French Broad Outposts. Both are easy to find and offer plenty of parking. The Walnut, NC location (All trips accept the LOWER FRENCH BROAD TRIP meet at the WALNUT LOCATION) is a two story facility with a jungle-gym feel that will make everyone feel like a kid! The Hot Springs location is 12 miles west of Walnut on the same road and is beside the river in the cheerful town of Hot Springs! See driving directions for more information.
Onsite Facilities Include:- Changing and restrooms
- Hot showers
- Picnic tables
- The outpost store carries t-shirt, snacks, drinks, sunblock and other sundries.
- Slide show of YOUR raft trip!
- Hiking: The Appalachian Trail runs directly through the Hot Springs Outpost Location
