ABC's Good Morning America Visits the NOC.
Nantahala Outdoor Center was rated #1 Vacation with a Splash by Good Morning America and National Geographic Adventures. Good Morning America broadcast live from NOC at the Nantahala Falls this past Thursday, June 29th during their two hour morning show. A large audience turnout on the river banks enjoyed watching rafting and kayaking early in the morning and participating in the national television broadcast.
Good Morning America and National Geographic Adventures kicked off a new Thursday morning summer series called "Vacationland USA" on June 22nd, 2006. The second week in their series was themed "Top Ten Vacations with a Splash", and NOC was rated Number One in the USA. GMA contacted NOC to be the featured destination for their whitewater rafting and paddling vacation.
