• roll reliably on Class III whitewater.
• say they've performed over 10 combat rolls in Class III water in the last year.
• attempt hands and off-side rolls.
• paddle Class III whitewater consistently and confidently.
• say they've paddled Class IV rapids at least 10 in the last year.
• lead others down rapids/rivers on Class III water.
• perform crisp ferries, peel-outs and eddy turns in Class III water.
• catch one-boat eddies on Class III water.
• attempt difficult moves that challenge and push you.
• maintain upright posture.
