Conceptually, the difference between advanced paddling and everything else is verticality. NOC's Paddling Instructors relish the opportunity to "get vertical", and are among the best paddlers in the region. They'll show you how to drop falls and throw ends, how to incorporate river features into critical moves. More than just hotshot skills, being an Advanced Paddler means being a river leader, which is why safety and rescue are covered, too.
