Fun Facts: Chris is a relaxed, easy going, creative and playful instructor who is known for his patience and genuine care for his guests. Inquisitive about everything, he is a self proclaimed "sponge." When it comes to paddling, you can find Chris on any water (rivers, creeks, lakes, oceans), any time he has an opportunity.

Chris is also a degreed Mechanical Engineer who formerly worked in the Aerospace and Automotive Racing Industry, until he decided to pursue his interest in helping people. He started Realitrix Corporation, an Asheville-based non-profit organization in the summer of 2007, with the goal of building custom bicycles for children with disabilities. In order to better serve his clientele, he is currently pursuing a doctorate in Physical Therapy and possibly Orthopedic Surgery.
