Costa Rica: Class IV Week of Rivers
 Dates: November 8-15, 2008 & November 15-22, 2008 Cost: $1649
Spend an entire week paddling the classic runs that have made Costa Rica one of the most popular kayaking destinations in the world. Costa Rica has several Class IV rivers like the Upper Toro and Pacuare, which offer long wave trains and big challenging rapids crashing through colorful tropical jungles in a real-life whitewater fairytale.
This trip is scheduled at the peak of the rainy season to capitalize on big, exciting water levels. Paddlers on this trip need to be comfortable running Class III and IV rapids and have a bombproof roll. Boat scouting is the norm on this trip, as many rapids are long and continuous. Paddlers should also be comfortable reading whitewater on the fly.
*There are a variety of river choices in Costa Rica. Each day's river is chosen based on water levels, group goals and skill level.
What our guests are saying: "I felt very well prepared and supervised. I never felt like I was endangered, over-extended or unable to meet the group's expectations, yet I did feel challenged and was thrilled with the experience. I can't wait to do it again! Keep up the good work!" - Natalie Fayman
