	Bank of America's US Open March 22-23, 2008 Two days of big-time racing at NOC! Come cheer on the Nantahala Racing Club Rhinos as they fight for spots on the 2008 USA Canoe/Kayak team. Watch world-class paddlers compete in both downriver and slalom competitions in the season's first major event. Hosted by the Nantahala Race Club (NRC).

	NOC Outfitter's Store Demo Daze April 19-20 New for 2008! All 60+ boats in NOC's massive demo fleet will be available for free test-paddling on the Nantahala River. Paddlers can also practice up in the pool, as well as in free creeking and playboating clinics. Plus, get a first look at new whitewater gear for '08. It's like spring training and opening day all in one weekend!

	NOC/Dagger Freestyle Shootout August 23-24, 2008 Think you can ride alongside kayaking's superstars? 	Tsali Challenge Triathlon September 6-7, 2008 NOC's take on the triathlon! We've replaced the traditional swim, cycle and run with a lake paddle, a trail run and a mountain bike ride. This popular event welcomes teams and individuals to compete in the beautiful Tsali Recreation Area on Fontana Lake. Come test your mettle against local champions!
	NOC NantyFest/GAF September 26-28, 2008 2008 marks the 25th Anniversary of NOC's Guest Appreciation Festival! We've pushed up the date of the granddaddy of all gear sales, the party that brings together outdoor enthusiasts of all stripes to catch up, catch a few eddies and seize some sweet deals on new and used gear.
	Whitewater Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony October 11, 2008 Nantahala Outdoor Center is honored to host the IWHOF Induction Ceremony, in a formal recognition of 2007 and 2008 inductees, October 11 of this year. Founded in 2003, the IWHOF recognizes and honors individuals who have made significant contributions to whitewater-related activities.
	NOC Tour de Nantahala October 25, 2008 Featuring the 109-mile Nantahala Nightmare, this road ride is a brutal but beautiful tour of Swain, Macon and Graham counties. Riders can also opt for the less daunting 45-mile Robbinsville Loop to Stecoah Gap and back. Both rides feature full ride support and an after party. Come check out why this ride is gaining serious popularity.
