That's why we've teamed up with renowned guides from Davidson River Outfitters of Brevard, NC to bring you world-class trout fishing right here in our backyard. Guide J.E.B. Hall and his colleagues at DRO have been guiding guests through streams across Western North Carolina for more than 15 years. Just as with NOC's river guides, you can expect excellence and professionalism both on and off the water. Hall is the local expert, having authored the most comprehensive fly fishing guidebook on the area, Western North Carolina Fly Guide.

You decide if you want to float or wade to fish. Your guide will consider weather conditions, water levels and seasonal regulations, and then choose a destination from several local streams and rivers. NOC is surrounded by top rated fishing waters including the Upper Nantahala River, Little Tennessee River, Tuckasegee River and Snowbird Creek. Waders are provided, but guests are encouraged to bring their own gear, if they have it.
