Whitewater Rafting: French Broad River
French Broad Whitewater: History & AdventureThe world's third oldest river, the stately French Broad flows through scenic Pisgah National Forest in the mountains of North Carolina. This free-flowing river is ideal for families and young teens, with moderate Class II and III rapids. The full-day trip adds the percussive, Class IV Frank Bell's Rapid, a river-wide, bouncy drop.
Check out the American Canoe Association's Open Canoe Downriver Nationals, July 10-13 on the French Broad River!
