Fun Facts: Despite growing up in the mountainous whitewater region of Southwest Florida, Joe began his paddling career in the Nantahala Gorge. Joe has logged approximately 50 ("yeah, definitely 50 because 100 would be pushing it") rivers to include various sections of the Colorado (including the Grand Canyon), Green Narrows, and the Ottawa. Joe is also a Wilderness EMT and in the winter months, a ski instructor for Alpine Meadows in Lake Tahoe, CA. This year, he's proud to return for his second season as an esteemed NOC kayak instructor boasting 11 years of whitewater experience.
