Fun Facts: Matt is one of those people that when you first meet him, you can tell that he genuinely cares about others. This shows through in his kayaking instruction and by his "guest focused approach" to teaching. His ability to relate to the beginner is very helpful for building confidence in new skills. His favorite paddling memory is his first combat roll on the Hiwassee River after an epic side-surfing session and his passion is to help all of his students have the same type of exciting, yet successful experience.
