Scottish Highlands at a Glance

With its rugged coastline and incredible islands, the Scottish coast has been rated among the best sea kayaking spots in the world. Combine exceptional boating with stunning landscape and you have the formula for the adventure of a lifetime.

Your trip starts at Stirling Castle in the Scottish lowlands, and heads north to Fort William, a small town at the base of Ben Nevis, the highest mountain in Great Britain. Your trip then winds north to the Isle of Skye; we spend a day biking through remote fishing villages, towards the Cuillin Mountains. With their knife edge peaks and craggy trails this range of mountains is one of the oldest in Scotland.

Next we take sea kayaks over to the Isle of Raasay stay in an ancient ‘bothy' historically used as shelter for sheperds. With the option of kayaking along the coastline and back to the mainland this is a unique chance to see the Islands from the Ocean. There's time to relax around Portree the capital of Skye, before we head back to the mainland, and south back to Fort William. You'll be staying at the Glenfinnan Hotel featured in the Harry Potter films. It's then back to Edinburgh where you'll have a full day to explore, stock up on souvenirs, visit the castle or take a haunted Edinburgh tour at night! Whatever your skill level or energy levels, our Scotland trip accommodates.
