Adventurous families will relish the Pigeon's spirited Class III-IV rapids while skirmishing along the eastern border of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. This is NOC's most condensed whitewater experience—a full dose of whitewater excitement and scenery in just three short hours. Dam-controlled water makes this a consistent favorite, with releases Tuesdays through Thursdays and Saturdays, Memorial Day through Labor Day. This is a must-do activity on your National Park vacation!

Pigeon River Trips

Upper Pigeon Exciting whitewater families will relish! Splash through big, bouncy wave trains and nearly-continuous Class II-IV rapids. This trip is sure to get active youngsters soaked and smiling.
