NOC Salutes Paddlers

Outfitter's Store: Summer is starting off hot and we'd like to help you enjoy it by offering $150.00 off boats, 20% off storewide and up to 50% off selected items all weekend long, July 4th through July 6th*! All 60+ boats in NOC's massive demo fleet will be available for test paddling, and representatives from manufacturers such as Jackson Kayak, LiquidLogic, Dagger, Pyranha and more will be on hand to answer questions about new boats.

Store Hours: 8:00am-8:00pm.

Instruction: Cool off with our Paddling School! We'll have our pool in front of the Outfitter's Store, with instructors providing free roll clinics Saturday and Sunday 11am-2pm. Sign up sheets will be posted daily at the Paddling School counter, upstairs in the Outfitter's Store. Also available for the weekend is our 90-minute private instruction session for only $85.00.

Shuttles: The Rafting Center will provide river shuttles on the Nantahala River for $5.00 per boater. These shuttles run every half hour starting at 9:30am until 3:30pm.

Food: Our three on-campus restaurants can fill anyone's appetite after a day on the river, and River's End Restaurant will fire up our Big Wesser Grill all weekend to celebrate the 4th with traditional favorites. At night, head up the hill to Relia's Garden and enjoy dinner overlooking a tiered garden of flowers and herbs. Upstairs the Paddler's Pub will have live music Saturday night and your favorite beers all weekend long.

Friday 7/4: The rock and blues of Johnny Floor and the Wrong Crowd outside in the Rafting Center parking lot.
Saturday 7/5: Live music in the Paddler's Pub. Band TBA.

Drawing: Enter to win our Franziskaner Specialized Bike giveaway, Saturday at the Paddler's Pub! Raffle tickets available at the Johnny Floor and the Wrong Crowd show Friday and in the pub Saturday. Franziskaner representatives will be on hand with other giveaways Saturday night.
