One of the most popular and rewarding activities you can experience in the outdoors is fishing a cool mountain stream.  A haven for coldwater species like trout, the Smokies offer more than 700 miles of wild trout streams.  These beautiful streams provide wade fishing for colorful fish on a grand scale.  While most fish in the Smokies are less than a foot long, they are a challenge to hook and are scrappy fighters.  Many anglers rate the Smokies as their favorite place to cast a fly.  The Smokies are one of the last large wild trout fisheries in the eastern USA. When you fish with a guide, you gain access to hidden creeks, streams and holes in addition to tips vital to a successful outing.
