A Word From Our President

New Adventures for 2012

Welcome to another year of excitement on and off the water! From our headquarters on the Nantahala to our brand new venture at The Grove Park Inn in Asheville, outdoor store in downtown Gatlinburg and all outposts in between, we're bundled up, working hard and crossing off the days until spring comes to the Southeast.

This winter, we've been busy putting the final touches on our biggest project to date, the opening of our 1200-square-foot LEED-certified retail space at The Grove Park Inn in Asheville. NOC Asheville is open this summer featuring gear, souvenirs and a full concierge service for Asheville area fully-guided outdoor adventures. 

NOC also offers exciting new programs this year including a progressive Wilderness Survival School, a newly-redesigned online gear shop and additional course and youth programs through the infamous NOC Paddling School. We've also improved our online reservations system, making it a snap to book your adventure from home. Raft Guide School has just completed, meaning rafting season has begun. I hope we'll see you on the river soon!
