Check out NOC's Demo Fleet featuring canoes, kayaks and stand up paddleboards (SUP) for sampling on the Nantahala River and nearby Fontana Lake. All boats are at NOC's Outfitter's Store located conveniently on the banks of the Nantahala River where you can try out river running, play in the waves and even practice your roll.

NOC Demo Info
Up to 1 hour: Free of Charge Half Day: $25 Full Day: $40 All fees are due prior to demo rental. A copy of a valid major credit card is to remain on file for all demos in case of loss, damage and/or non-return, this applies to the 1 hour free sampler as well.
In order to use a demo boat, you must have Class III whitewater experience. Participants must supply their own gear including PFD, paddle, helmet and sprayskirt. NOC does not have available gear for rent. SUP paddles by Boardworks and Werner are available with demo boards. SUP are only available for demo on Fontana Lake.
