Advanced Wilderness First Aid to Wilderness First Responder (AWFA to WFR)
The Advanced Wilderness First Aid to Wilderness First Responder 5-Day course is for AWFA-certified students who wish to take the next step in their professional certification. It focuses on long-term care and leadership in the wilderness. After course completion, students are WFR-certified, the standard for outdoor leadership, especially on extended trips. A strong focus is put on scenarios to give students lots of opportunity to practice their skills and get feedback from instructors and fellow classmates. The certification is a must-have for trip leaders and outdoor professionals and is valid for three years.
