Enjoy Festivities All Day Long
If you haven't had enough at the end of the clinic with Joe, join us for the NOC Canoe Club Challenge, which will begin at 2:00pm. Adults are welcome to participate as well, so kids, let your parents tag along, and see who can take the most runs down this great beginner-friendly slalom course. Paddlers of all ages will get coaching from world-class athletes as they take as many as five runs each down the course. Registration is FREE, but all athletes must complete a waiver and registration form prior to race start. Please see the NOC Canoe Club Challenge page for more information.
Or, get the whole family on the water with a raft trip on down the scenic Nantahala! Special discounts are available on late afternoon raft trips as part of NOC's June Rock & Raft music series.
Stick around in the evening following the Canoe Club Challenge awards ceremony and enjoy live music, dancing, and plenty of good company by the river.
