Celebrate Spring in the Nantahala Gorge!

Boats, bikes, and roller skates: NOC's Spring Fling celebrates all that is great about the American Southeast. Cheer on top US paddlers as they compete for their spot on the 2013 ICF Canoe Freestyle World Championships Team. But this event isn't just about watching others have fun! Enjoy free live music and local brews at Slow Joe's Café, check out wares by local artisans, and demo the seasons's hottest new outdoor gear at NOC's Outfitter's Store. Paddlers of all ability levels are welcome to participate in NOC's Freestyle Shootout, and bike enthusiasts will love testing their skills on NOC's new pump track.

2013 Demo & Vendor Info

All boats in our massive demo fleet will be available for free test-paddling on the Nantahala River, thanks to NOC's Outfitter’s Store. Our customary one hour free demo has been extended to two hours for this event, with a couple of exceptions. (Some of our overwhelmingly popular boats will remain at one-hour demos—sorry folks, we all have to share). Please note: half or whole-day demos WILL NOT be available Friday-Sunday, to give all of our guests a chance to try the boat of their choice.
