Adventure Activities for Groups:
Whitewater Rafting -Seven Southeastern rivers, half-day and full-day trip options. -On some rivers, we can accommodate any size group. It is also possible to incorporate teambuilding exercises on raft trips.
Alpine Tower Climbing -50-ft-tall climbing structure with over 26 route options. -Unique design offers accessibility for physically challenged participants. -Half and full-day programs for groups of 10 to 24.
High Ropes Challenge Course -Individuals and teams choose 20 or 40 foot elevation circuits. -Navigate the multi-vine traverse or walk the balance beam. -Full-day activity for groups of 10 to 24.
Advanced High Ropes Partner Circuit -For groups college age and older, the 35-foot partner circuit is an advanced challenge, great for sports teams. -Two climbers work to ascend the springboard pole, and proceed through other challenges before arriving at the Breath Taker Swing.
Team-Building Initiatives -Ground-based problem-solving activities designed for teambuilding and leadership training. -Skill development for real-world applications.
Discovery Hikes -Small groups navigate short distances between staffed checkpoints with a compass and map. -Checkpoints offer opportunities to learn about identifying plants and Leave-No-Trace outdoor ethics.
Mountain Biking -Guided trips tailored to meet your group's needs and skill level. -Specialized mountain bikes, helmets, water bottles, transportation and instruction all provided by NOC.
Recreational Lake Touring -Guided half- and full-day nature tours in easy-to-paddle kayaks. -Observe wildlife and learn natural history of the Great Smoky Mountains.
Kayak and Canoe Instruction -35 years of world renowned paddling instruction. -Build confidence and learn paddling basics.
