DR Creeking at a Glance

Paddle where tropical rivers flow off the higest peaks in the Caribbean, then thread through palm trees and drop over white granite boulders before emptying into the turquoise waters of the sea. This is a truly unique paddling destination, with Class II-V rapids, big water paddling, technical creeking, bars at the takeout and beautiful scenery all around.

NOC's DR trips are based in the eco-town of Jarabacoa, dubbed "City of Everlasting Spring" for its pleasant weather. Hidden in the shadows of the 10,000-foot mountain Pico Duarte, Jarabacoa is the adventure capital of the Caribbean. Our trips are based at the riverside lodge, Ranch Baiguate—the ultimate place to kick back after a long day's adventure. With an on-site bar, restaurant, swimming pool and tropical flora, you'll never want to leave.

The ranch offers a lot of flexibility in planning each day's itinerary. Most rivers are located within one hour, and some days will even afford us multiple runs. Discover the perfect weather, fresh local food and exciting new rivers just a short flight from the Southeast!
