Vacation Options Beyond Rafting

NOC enjoys numerous relationships within the communities where we operate our rafting and paddling trips. While researching what to do and see near NOC's river outpost locations, be sure to check out the folks we highlight. Chattooga Area Lodging
The Chattooga River flows as the border between South Carolina and Georgia. NOC's Chattooga whitewater rafting trips meet and depart from our outpost in Mountain Rest, SC, near Clayton, GA.

 

French Broad Area
NOC's French Broad River rafting trips meet and depart from our outpost in Walnut, NC, outside of Asheville, NC. The whitewater action typcially concludes in the town of Hot Springs, a great place to visit while you're in the area.

 

Nantahala Area
Our largest river outpost is on the Nantahala River, outside of Bryson City, NC. In addition to whitewater rafting, you'll find a variety of outdoor activities, lodging, dining and shopping. NOC Nantahala is surrounded by great activities!

 

Ocoee Area
The Ocoee flows through east Tennessee's Cherokee National Forest. NOC's Ocoee rafting trips meet at Horn's Creek Resort, a group camp facility near Cleveland, TN. America's favorite whitewater run is convenient to both Atlanta and Chattanooga.

 

Pigeon Area
The Smokies' best family rafting adventure travels along the eastern border of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. With quick access from I-40, our outpost is easy to reach from Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge and Asheville!

 

Nolichucky Area
NOC's Nolichucky rafting trips depart from our riverside outpost near Erwin, TN, not far from Johnson City. The whitewater adventures conclude right back at our welcoming outpost. Lodging is easy to find, as the river is convenient to both Johnson City and Asheville.

 

Cheoah Area
Out most intense river trips are located in beautiful, far western North Carolina, near Robbinsville. We meet and return to the Tapoco Lodge, right on the Cheoah River. Graham County is full of outdoor opportunities of all types, so be sure to bring your sense of adventure!
