Costa Rica Class IV Week of Rivers November 10 - 17, 2007 November 17 - 24, 2007 $1,575
Paddle many of the classic runs that have made Costa Rica one of the most popular kayaking destinations in the world. Costa Rica has several Class IV rivers like the Reventazon and Pacuare, which offer long wave trains and big challenging rapids crashing through colorful tropical jungles in our real-life whitewater fairytale. This trip is scheduled at the peak of the rainy season for the best chance that these and other key rivers will be full and exciting. Paddlers wanting to join this trip need to be comfortable running Class III and IV rapids and have a bombproof roll. Boat scouting is the norm on this trip as many rapids are long and continuous and paddlers should be comfortable reading whitewater on the fly. The itinerary may change due to group ability, water levels, weather and other conditions. What our guests are saying: I felt very well prepared and supervised. I never felt like I was endangered, over-extended, or unable to meet the group's expectations, yet I did feel challenged and was thrilled with the experience. I can't wait to do it again!!! Keep up the good work!!!
