NOC's Section III trips are fully-guided and feature self-bailing rafts for a memorable wilderness experience. This stunning waterway has abundant wildlife, including herons and nesting Canada geese. Rapids on Section III are family-friendly Class II and III, right up until Bull Sluice at the end. Bull Sluice is an exciting Class IV drop that is one of the highlights of this wildereness experience. Section III makes a great option for families with children as young as eight, and for youth groups. NOC guides encourage lots of swimming and splashing through Section III's pools and jump-off rocks on hot summer days. One example is crossing the "Troll Bridge" - a line of upside down rafts spread across the river in a calm area. As you run across the "bridge" a bunch of "trolls" (our guides) do their best to knock you off into the water. Depending on water levels, you may have the option of choosing a fully-guided trip with riverside lunch, or a half-day deluxe trip that includes a riverside lunch. Either way, a Section III river trip will imprint many memories upon your mind that are sure to last a lifetime. Don't miss the digital photo show when you return to the Outpost. Our expert photographers capture all the smiles, so you can relive the adventure with your new friends. What should I wear on a Chattooga rafting trip? What is included?
