Driving Directions: Ocoee Outpost

NOC's Ocoee Outpost has moved! We are now located adjacent Horn's Creek Resort, just five minutes from our old outpost, off Highway 64. Be sure to follow the signs to NOC's Rafting Outpost, where you check in. The main office at Horn's Creek Resort cannot check you in for rafting.

From Atlanta - Take I-75 North. Just past Cartersville, GA take Exit 293 onto US 411 North. Nine miles past the GA/TN state line, turn east on US 64 towards Murphy, NC. After 1.5 miles turn right onto Old Federal Road (look for NOC signs at this turn - our former meeting place). Travel one mile and take a left onto Sloans Gap Road (gravel road). Drive for another 1.6 miles and take a right onto Hawkins Drive (gravel road). This road ends at NOC Ocoee Outpost by Horn's Creek Resort. Follow the signs to the check-in location.

From Chattanooga, TN -Take I-75 North towards Knoxville, TN. About 22 miles from Chattanooga take the first Cleveland, TN exit (#20) onto US 64 BYPASS E. Drive six miles. Take the Ocoee exit for 64 East towards Ocoee/Murphy. One and a half miles east of the junction of US 64 and US 411 turn right onto Old Federal Road (look for NOC signage at this turn - our former meeting place). Travel one mile and take a left onto Sloans Gap Road (gravel road). Drive for another 1.6 miles and take a right onto Hawkins Drive (gravel road). This road ends at NOC's Ocoee Outpost by Horn's Creek Resort. Follow the signs to the check-in location.

From Knoxville, TN - Take I-75 South towards Chattanooga. Take the second Cleveland, TN exit (#25). This will take you through Cleveland. After five traffic lights, the road turns into a freeway. Take the Ocoee exit for 64 E towards Ocoee/Murphy. One and a half miles east of the junction of US 64 and US 411 turn right onto Old Federal Road (look for NOC signage at this turn - our former meeting place). Travel one mile and take a left onto Sloans Gap Road (gravel road). Drive for another 1.6 miles and take a right onto Hawkins Drive (gravel road). This road ends at NOC's Ocoee Outpost by Horn's Creek Resort. Follow the signs to the check-in location.

From North Carolina - Drive into Tennessee on US 64 West (from Murphy, NC). Pass the Ocoee River and continue 12 miles past the following: Lake Ocoee, rural farmland and the Lower Ocoee River. One and a half miles past the Lower Ocoee River Bridge, turn left onto Old Federal Road (look for NOC signage at this turn - our former meeting place). Travel one mile and take a left onto Sloans Gap Road (gravel road). Drive for another 1.6 miles and take a right onto Hawkins Drive (gravel road). This road ends at NOC's Ocoee Outpost by Horn's Creek Resort. Follow the signs to the check-in location.
